Andrew Pappert is an associate attorney in the Cleveland, OH office. Since opening the Cleveland office in 2016, Andrew has successfully represented clients throughout Ohio in due process hearings and various forms of alternative dispute resolution, including mediations and facilitated IEP meetings. Andrew has also successfully represented students and parents in disciplinary proceedings and manifestation determination meetings. Andrew has also assisted clients in establishing guardianships for both minor and adult children. Andrew’s ability to bring creative solutions to difficult problems has helped our clients achieve positive results for their children.
Andrew has presented to parent organizations throughout Ohio and outside of the state in order to educate parents, service providers, and medical professionals about various topics affecting families of children with disabilities. These topics include: “Red Flags” to know when there is a problem in a child’s educational program; how attorneys, advocates, and service providers can work collaboratively in order to ensure a student’s rights are being protected; and how behavior assessments and behavior plans should be incorporated into the educational programming of students with autism.
Andrew is a member of the Cleveland Metropolitan Bar Association, the Ohio Bar Association, National Allies for Parents in Special Education, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.
Andrew is licensed to practice in Ohio and Pennsylvania.
